Region VII Virtual Academy

Overview

The Region VII Virtual Academy (R7VA) aims to provide 21st-century educational opportunities for students in Southwest Virginia. R7VA is a unique solution for those seeking quality remote instruction without losing the connectedness to their school division of residence. R7VA is a collaborative effort among multiple school divisions to meet the ever-changing needs of students in the 21st century. 

Through partnerships with Virtual Virginia and Virginia-approved online providers, R7VA offers an opportunity for immersion in a part-time or full-time virtual learning environment at no cost to students and families. Enrolled students in grades K-12 will complete online coursework with certified, high-quality instructors who seek to mirror vital components of the traditional school setting.
